Dr Perko is a specialist upper limb surgeon. He treats conditions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. He has a practice with a focus on sports injuries and has treated many elite level sports men and women. He is also happy to see general orthopaedic problems and is able to see urgent injuries if required.

At your first consultation your condition will be assessed. Dr Perko will take into account your symptoms as well performing a physical examination and review of any imaging you may have. Additional imaging may be required and can be arranged. Often this will be on the same day otherwise a second appointment may be required.

An individual treatment programme will be advised and if surgery is appropriate a discussion of the procedure whether open or arthroscopic (sometimes referred to as key hole or laser surgery) will be given.

Dr Perko is happy to work with your treating physiotherapist or can advise of recommended individuals for any rehabilitation required.
